Residents of Florence since the early 13^th century, the noble Antinori family has been synonymous with fine wines from Tuscany for some 600 years. Yet, though their winemaking roots go back 26 generations, the family is far from tradition-bound, responsible for such innovations as the well recognized “Super Tuscan” blend, pioneered by the current owner Piero Antinori in the 1970s. 2009 sees the expansion in China of their blockbuster range Santa Cristina.
